Our DOK sister, Elinor (Ellie) Smith, passed away on Thursday February 11, 2010.  She was the President of her DOK Chapter at St Cyprian's, St. Augustine.  Please pray that God will receive her into his loving arms and for peace and comfort for her family and her DOK sisters.

Sisters,

I've just learned that a coworker and friend had an ovarian cyst rupture over a week ago.  It went septic, and she had to have major surgery to clean it up.  As a result, adult respiratory distress set in, and she was placed on a ventilator until just this past Tuesday.  She had her first bit of nourishment today.  She has a long road of recovery and rehabilitation ahead of her. 

Please lift Lisa up in prayer for continued healing and that this situation might be used for the overall good for those who know and love her.  Peace to you, Helen
